SO LETS START :D

Instructions

    • 1
Design your board. You will need to include numbers, the alphabet and relevant words like "yes" and "no." Include other elements that you find important. Choose a design that is personally meaningful.
    • 2
Place your design on paper or directly on a piece of wood, fiberboard or heavy cardboard. Draw or paint your board to make it both beautiful and easy to read. If your design is on paper, glue it to a board.
    • 3
Cover your Ouija board with plexiglass or glass if it does not have a smooth surface. Your board needs a slippery surface for the planchette to move easily. The plexiglass or glass does not need to be permanently adhered to the board. You can just cover it whenever you use your Ouija board. If the slippery surface is not heavy, tape it to your board or to the surface on which you will use the board.
    • 4
Obtain or improvise a planchette. This is the tool that moves around the board and communicates the spirit's words. You can order one from Hasbro, who makes the commercially available version of a Ouija board. Alternately, you can use a clear drinking glass to read the content that the glass encircles.

Tips & Warnings

  • Lay out your design so each element is well-spaced. This will avoid confusion as your planchette moves across the board.
  • You may want to lacquer your Ouija board to preserve it. A good coat of lacquer will also create a slick surface.
